Marketplace flair in the shopping mall.

For Marché Mövenpick, SODA GROUP transferred the ambience of a European marketplace into an Asian shopping centre.

Jakarta – Stalls of vegetables, crates and baskets of fruit, mountains of potatoes: in the middle of the “Lippo Mall Puri” in Indonesia’s capital Jakarta, visitors can feel like they are in a European market. The difference is that they can have the food made into fresh meals right on the spot. SODA GROUP planned the Marché marketplace restaurant for Mövenpick for this special environment.

Spread over an area of 735 square metres are several counters where chefs prepare fresh dishes and 200 seats where visitors can sit down to eat. There is also a terrace with a further 86 seats.

A collage of different materials interacts with the fresh colour concept and the appetisingly decorated food to create an ambience that awakens the culinary desire to discover.
