Palavrion by Marché Mövenpick
Fillet for all! The Palavrion grills with Swiss precision.
On behalf of Marché, SODA GROUP supervised the Palavrion in Zurich and at Düsseldorf Airport with regard to concept and design development, draft and kitchen planning as well as cost analysis.
Zurich/Düsseldorf – In essence, it’s about guests who, engrossed in relaxed palaver, are looking forward to the ultimate barbecue experience. The result was the Palavrion. Together with Mövenpick, SODA GROUP developed the gastronomic concept, which uses virtuoso cooking methods and grilling expertise to bring out the best in every piece of meat. This prudent use of meat as a resource is nothing less than sustainability in culinary terms.
The Palavrion is considered an authority among barbecue restaurants. The flame grill, on which, by the way, fish and vegetables are also placed, is in the centre of the open kitchen. The guests’ areas are sorted around them. Tasteful and unpretentious, seats are offered at the surrounding kitchen bar, in upholstered seating groups, on leather round benches or at seated bar tables. Wood, leather and tiles work in warm tones and balanced lighting against brick walls and a wall of plants. A bar and a winetasting lounge complete the spectrum.
In Germany, a Palavrion was implemented at Düsseldorf Airport (pictures) to offer convincing barbecue enjoyment in this country as well.
